Main Research Interests

My main interest lies within the developmental research area, in particular, the development and application of methods suited for the analysis of longitudinal developmental data. This work takes place in cooperation with Prof. Lars R. Bergman and within the IDA project and the Stockholm Laboratory for Developmental Science.

Other interests and ongoing projects regard the following:

• Studying alcohol, drug and criminal behaviour of a population of 9 graders and a population of high school students in the Stockholm area (in cooperation with Knut Sundell from FoU, Stockholm).
  
• Relating different systems of beliefs about the self and different aspects of environment. A large scale study of teachers in Italy (in cooperation with Prof. Gian Vittorio Caprara and Patrizia Steca from the University of Rome).
  
• Analysing longitudinal data to investigate self-efficacy believes and other social and school related skills’ relationship to subsequent academic achievements in different age cohorts of Italian students (in cooperation with Prof. Gian Vittorio Caprara and Patrizia Steca from the University of Rome).
  
• Studying longitudinally certain aspects of women’s health from a person-oriented prespective (in cooperation with Christin Mellner from Stockholm University).
