My research mainly focuses modern work organization in terms of so-called boundaryless, or low-regulated, working conditions within knowledge intense jobs. These are studied in relation to work/personal life balance, job performance, sickness absenteeism- and presenteeism, self-rated health, medically unexplained symptoms, rest/recovery, self-esteem, and coping strategies in terms of segmentation and integration.
