Undervisning

Jag har på regelbunden basis undervisat på och administrerat olika kurser sedan år 2000, huvudsakligen på fristående kurs i psykologi och psykologprogrammet, men även inom ramen för flera andra program (t.ex. logoped-, beteendevetenskapliga och dietistprogrammet). De huvudsakliga ämnen som mina kurser och min undervisning rört är psykologisk testning (kursledare), perception (kursledare), Introduktion till psykologi (kursledare), kognitionspsykologi och statistik. Jag var även kursledare för psykologi B.

Forskning

My ongoing research can be divided into two broad themes: (A) metacognition and (B) olfactory cognition.

A. Metacognition and learning

I am interested in the conscious monitoring (metamemory) of our own learning, both in the form of assessments of how easy or difficult something would be to learn (ease of learning judgments) and our assessments of our ongoing learning (Judgments of learning).

B. Olfactory cognition

In studying olfaction (the sense of smell) I am mainly focusing on olfactory cognition and more specifically, but not exclusively, odor memory in the long and the short term.
