Emotional interplay and communication with patients diagnosed with schizophrenia.

The topic of this research is communication with patients diagnosed with schizophrenia. We are studying video recorded interviews of patients talking to an interviewer. Focus is on the interaction between the two parts. Patients diagnosed with schizophrenia often have difficulties sharing experiences and thoughts with others, and speech disturbances occur frequently. An overarching objective of this research is to learn more about communication with this group of patients.
