Main research interests are in perception, cognition, and social cognition. Specific interests in these fields are subjective judgments of various kinds, for instance, preference judgments, person/social perception, and the general validity of self reported data.
My doctoral thesis concerned preference judgments, and together with my advisor Åke Hellström I am investigating different models describing cognitive and perceptual processes behind these judgments.
In addition, I currently work with Geoff Patching on a project concerning time and space order effects in the speeded comparison of visual signals and, in particular the role of attention in such judgements. This research is funded by the Swedish Research Council.
