Teaching

Responsible for the psychotherapy supervision in the psychodynamic psychotherapy course included in the program for psychologists as well as for psychotherapists. Resonsible for course I, III and IV in psychotherapy in collaboration with the senior lecturer Gunnar Bohman. Moreover, supervising psychology master theses in the psychodynamic clinical area.

Clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with many years of experience of clinical work as a licenced psychotherapist and psychotherapy supervisor.

Research

General areas of interest include clinical psychology, the learning process in psychodynamic psychology, especially psychotherapy supervision and interaction processes in group supervision.

One ongoing study concerns Group supervision in psychotherapy. The described study is performed in collaboration between a number of universities (Linköping, Stockholm, Umeå) and clinics that are connected to a university (Ericastiftelsen, Stockholm; S:t Lukas utbildningsinstitut, Göteborg, Luleå, Lund, Stockholm). The data collection started in 2002 and ended in 2005. The project is funded by Vetenskapsrådet.

The principal study aim is to highlight differences between the various training levels and psychotherapeutic orientations as pertaining to the impact of group supervision, supervisor style, group climate and the learning process on the didactic format. A second aim is to examine the relationship between different admission test procedures, the didactic format of group supervision, supervisor styles and specific group characteristics such as gender aspects, respectively, and group climate and the learning process.
