Head of the Division of Work and Organizational Psychology
My research interests include organizational change and its effects on employees, downsizing and job insecurity, labor market flexibility and employment contracts, employee attitudes and well-being, work climate and employee motivation, union member attitudes and behavior, as well as career development. Several of the studies I am involved in investigate the effects of organizational characteristics (e.g., structure, climate, leadership) and change (downsizing, mergers, privatization) on the individual.

Teaching
I have taught on the undergraduate level since 1994, the master level since 1998, and the PhD program since 1999, but also internationally (Utrecht University, the Netherlands; Northwest University, South Africa; University of Valencia, Spain). My teaching includes work and organizational psychology, organization theory, questionnaire methods, statistics, and structural equation modeling.
