I am an environmental psychologist and photographer. Currently, my research is dedicated to soundscape quality in promotion of sustainable urban development, quality of life, health and well-being. It involves, in equal parts, psychology, acoustics and urban planning/design.
I obtained by B.Sc. degree in Psychology (including Education and History of Art) at Stockholm University in 2005, and my Ph.D. degree in Psychology at the same university in 2011. My Doctoral Thesis Aesthetic Appreciation Explicated introduces the Information-Load Model and advocates that Information Load is the key factor underlying aesthetic appreciation.
