Ola Sternäng
PhD in Psychology, MSc in Industrial engineering
Abstract
My main research interest is memory functioning and development. I defended my doctoral thesis (about memory aging) in the beginning of 2011. After my dissertation, I worked in a project about comparisons of memory aging in Bangladesh and Sweden. At present, I hold a postdoc position in cognitive aging at School of Health Sciences, Jönköping University, Sweden.
My main collaborators are Åke Wahlin (Stockholm University), Lars-Göran Nilsson (Stockholm University), Anna Dahl (School of Health Sciences, Jönköping University/Karolinska Institute), and Nancy Pedersen (Karolinska Institute).
Before my time in academia, I worked 1989-2003 at various positions within Scania (a truck manufacturer) in Södertälje.
