Main Research Interests

Ola Svenson is the head of the Risk Analysis, Social and Decision Research Unit. The research in the unit covers basic and applied research in human decision processes, risk and accident analysis and social/organizational psychology.

Presently, Ola Svenson's research interests cover the following themes: (1) Human decision processes before and after a decision - reasons and affect, (2) Memories of past decisions, (3) Decision theory development of Differentiation and Consolidation Theory, (4) Safety management and incident analysis, (5) Traffic safety and driver cognition.
